Broadway's "Defending the Caveman" is coming to the Hobby Center June 3-14. The longest-running solo show in Broadway history highlights the differences between men and women and mines the common themes in relationships that go straight to the funny bone while warming the heart.

From saying they'll call you back and waiting a month to do it to forgetting to put the toilet seat down (really, how hard can that possibly be to remember?), men sure can be funny creatures. What are some caveman-esque qualities your boyfriend or husband has exhibited? While you're thinking about that, here are some fun (and unscientific) relationship facts:

  • Men take only 15 minutes to decide if a woman is worth a second date. For women, the clock isn't ticking so fast--they ponder whether to get together again for an hour or so.
  • According to Guinness, Percy and Florence Arrowsmith hold the record for longest lasting marriage. The marriage lasted 80 years until Percy's death on June 15, 2005. Mr. Arrowsmith said the secret to his long-lasting marriage was learning how to say, "Yes, dear."
  • The average person in their lifetime will spend 20,160 minutes kissing.

Re: The Battle of the Sexes--Next Stop, Houston

My ex used to frustrate me because he'd eat junk food constantly and never gain a pound on his skinny frame. I remember one night, maybe an hour after we'd eaten a big Mexican food dinner, he wanted to go to Jack in the Box. I, still full, flat-out refused. It was like he was a caveman and never sure when he'd be able to eat next!

If he smashes a spider climbing on the living room wall, he'll leave the dead carcass on the wall like a trophy

What is up with man and fire?! Everytime my friends and I have a bbq, the boys flock to the grill like mesquitoes to a flame.
